Chris - I think Bob has a rota for volunteers. Send him an Fmail and he'll allocate you a week. I think he's working on a 1ce per 5 week basis. UDs times are similar to mine, but jolguk, green stripey, pato and DM are all going to be involved in some Bramhall Battles... I'm dreading it! |

I'll not be back running until the 25th, when I'll hopefully be better than yesterday! Might see some of you at Mobberly on Wednesday. |

Looks like there are a few fetchies just over the 21mins for this, could be some interesting races coming up - hopefully the challenge will get my 5k time down. Did Alex Park today and although admitedly in heavy rain I was only 30secs faster that BRTT not the minute that RunningBob promised Dodge - excellent time mate, you should try Alex Park over the summer see if you can dip under 18mins |

Thanks pato....would love to get below 18mins for 5K but the hills at Bramhall are a bit of a hurdle!. Have no knowledge of Alex Park whatsoever with being out of the 'racing loop' for a while.

First Sunday in every month Dodge - fast club runners at the front and ordinary mortals at the back. You'd do very well there I think. Its £3.00 for affiliated/£4.00 for unattached, enter on the day or you can pre-register online and pick up your number and pay on the day. Its a really friendly race - in Alexandra Park, Moss Side/Whalley Range.

I don't think I'll ever do Alex Park again now that I've found Bramhall Park. It is good though and great value compared to any other 5ks.
