Merry,

I'm up for that. Had quite enough of this Christmas nonsense already - went round the streets the other night - so many lights everywhere.

Haven't people heard of global warming,

you could almost hear the meters whirring.....
Tis the season to be grumpy
Tra la la la etc.....

I will be there with my hangover tomorrow morning. I will definitely not be sub-20. I imagine sub 25 would be too much for me!

Also, I've not solved the mystery of how I make mulled wine given that I need the hour I have in the house tonight to get ready for going out, and need to get to Bramhall for 8:30 in the morning.

Can I be excused? I could ask Rick to try making it, but I'm not confident of a positive response.

Tree Trunc,

Driving down the sodding M6 with all those other people going off to be grumpy with their inlaws, no doubt all the drivers who only come out once a year will be out in force, in the middle lane, with their nodding dogs in the back window, their wives tucked up with that nice tartan blanket, worrying that Aunt Flo won't put the Turkey on early enough and they'll all get food poisoning as a result. Good I say, one less person to play with their new Garmin "with lane assist" on the way back (doesn't that advert just drive you mad?).

And who's that giant in the picture anyway, unreal.

E Scrooge :)

Dunc, I am actually running tomorrow. And I'll wear tinsel. Even my husband is. Surely that's good enough.

Apparently we don't own a flask. So I'm afraid I won't be bringing any mulled wine.

I'll :-) when I think of you all at 9 am as you come down the hill for the first time and realise the Bramhall Dog Walkers are having their annual Christmas stroll.
