Yes I was meaning just at Bramhall. Course makes a big difference to WAVA so just using Bramhall gives you a level playing field. Although of course you could still moan about others being lucky with the weather, dogs etc.

Im up for this challenge altho I wont get that many chances to run it :)

Altho since i have only ran the course once so far I guess I have a little improvement up my sleeve ;)

Yeah. I'm in now. I've only run it 4 times, so I ought to be able to improve a bit, especially as I've slipped into the vets recently.

I think it's a good idea and I'm happy to join in although like Jo my WAVA's pretty high, especially after Wesham 10 km which was my highest WAVA ever by some way! Also although I haven't done Bramhall that often I did get round quite quickly on one occasion.

But hey, I'll give it a go (guess that means MORE training, MORE hard work, MORE pain etc ... BXXXXX

I've noticed that the Bramhall WAVA seems to use your age to nearest year - hence you do get a boost (or opposite if you're still below prime age) on your birthday.

Homer suffers by his youth - he is still in Gebreselassie's age group. Mind Paul Tergat is close to V40.

I can work out improvements for 2008 from the stored results.
