Jen - indeed I did - my best weekend of milestones since Feb 9th & 10th.
Not sure about my time as it appears on http://www.parkrun.com/Default.aspx?tabid=304, it says I got 20.11 (so no Jen, I'm not Mayor of London, yet!). I hope not, I was looking forward to crossing the 20 minute barrier next Saturday . I'll nick Ken's time for now!

Thanks for coming everyone. The timing system relies on coordination between the timing and the tokens - things can easily get one place out of sync as seems to have happened here. There was also at least 1 person who ran through the finish twice - I'd taken over the timing and hadn't seen him before - but the tokens guy recognised him and didn't give him a token...
Anyway I'll sort out if easy to do and I'm sure that we'll get better at it.

I noticed Ken Livingstone in results and was disappointed not to see Boris Johnson listed too - I can imagine Boris would be as red as Ken after a swift 5k
The first lady was I believe only 10 years old and ran 22 mins. These youngsters are setting some challenging marks.

Bob - there was a young lad in front of me at the start - I lost him after 3k. You're right about these youngsters.
Don't want to be too critical of the timing, this time trial is now a must for me whenever I can do it. I've paid a lot of money for worse races.

I've decided against trying to mess with the times as I don't know at what point exactly they slipped and it is a bit fiddly. You'll all just have to run a bit faster next week so these faster times are forgotten as course PBs.
As AndyP says it is very interesting to see these young people running against us. I'm also impressed that they can pace themselves over 5k.
If anymore Fetchs want to help please can you email me at bramhallHelpers@parkrun.com so that I can include you on the volunteers email. I'm aiming to build up a list of people who are willing to help say once a month - ish.

BTW these are the fastest local 5ks:
Christleton 5k - flat, overall slightly downhill Bowdon 5k - flat, less crowded than Christleton
Dunham / Sale Sizzlers / Alex Park - these are all flattish but with some sharp corners. Multiple events so you get faster with practice.
On a dry day Bramhall Park 5k is about 1 minute slower than Christleton for a 16 minute runner mainly due to the twists, turns and rough surface. Lower down the field the hills have more of an impact adding maybe 2-3 minutes to a 25 minute runner.

this assumes i'm fuly awake off course
sounds like i might struggle abit to beat my PB at this one on sat depending on how it compares with WCTT
