PMSL :)

Reminds me of a similar gaff during the Wilmslow Half presentations a couple of years ago. A top woman athlete with an elite entry had just equalled the course record and in his excitement the race director said that he was particularly pleased as "he had entered her personally just last week".

thanks for your lovely comments about the Gatley Primary schools XC- Bob and Pato! - now Pato when your daughter leaves Yr 6 you are going to miss the lovely soup I make for you in the kiosk aren't you???????? and as there are only 3 more Xc for you to attend in the New year - why not treat yourself to the lovely Hot Dogs, T cakes or slices of toast - all lovingly prepared by my own fair hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MG - didn't realise that you are one of the lifesavers that man the kiosk - you have probably served me a cup a soup on more than one occasion ( I have been going to Gatley for about 6 years). I will miss the cup a soup but not the coffee ;-)

You and your clubmates do a wonderful job at Gatley and IMHO it is for kids what BRTT is for adults - running at its best, healthy competition in a friendly/supportive/inclusive environment :-)

Although some of the ultra competetive parents can be a pin the a*se :-)

Big, big hole has been dug in the middle of our track - just been to have a look. We'll have to squeeze around I guess.
