Won't be there for a few weeks, off to find some sun for a bit (planning on no running and too much drinking :-) ) Will be straight into some hard training for Macc half when I get back and will also be trying to chisel at my 5k PB (yet again) so will be up for some lung bursting attempts round BRTT in September. I won't be happy to come back and find out that the others trying to get under 20mins have managed it in my absence now that Steve has shown it can be done :-)

Happy holidays, Pat. Don't worry, there's zero chance of me doing under 20 at BRTT in your absence, if at all.

Homer, Rick remarked on your headgear when he saw the photos, too!

Malcolm just told me that we are a bit short of helpers for Great Warford Run on Sunday. If anyone could help for a couple of hours starting 9.15 the it would be really appreciated. All proceeds from race are to David Lewis Centre so good cause. You'd probably be helping manage water stations (where kids could help too) or finish - its a 2 lap course in a nice area near Alderley Edge / Knutsford. Please fmail me if you can help.

Looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow. Weather looks a lottery, might be a holiday effect either way. Mike Halman is planning to run (16:03 last time).

I'm on the water station on Sunday.

I will be at BRTT on Saturday :-) The aim is to just quietly improve on last weeks time and tick away until I'm back to my BRTT best of 20:50.....might take a while as I'm off on holiday soon.

Dunc - I find daughters respond well to post race ice cream bribe.

Manc Girl - I'll be the one being lapped.

Homer - OK - just tell me when you're ready for the video.
