I forgot about the half way shout - very helpful - while The Fat Lady (my Garmin) was telling me I wasn't going to make it the marshal shouted, "9.50" . I'm leaving it at home next time.

I think the marshal shouted '9:50', at me, too... God knows what happened in my second half, eh?

I'm guessing it wasn't 9:50 again :(
Sure I heard the same for my first lap

Just to prove that Clare didn't shout 9:50 at everyone - I got an "8:30" ;-).

I suspect that we all lose a few seconds immediately on that hill up to the cafe - difficult to run it as fast 2nd time.

Dodgy head gear too Homer.

I've been pulled from GWR10 by family camping trip :(. Will still make BRTT though. Mike Halman - course record holder should be running.

To get into the Olympic spirit I'm hoping to run 1500m, 3000m and maybe even 800m at Trafford Open next week - first track race for over 30 years.

Good luck with the track races, Bob.

I've been told I won't have time to fit BRTT in before the wedding in Yorkshire on Saturday. :(
