Damn damn damn - fepp fepp fepp - double sh......t have tripped over rockery stone and hurt two toes on right foot - badly bruised at base - i cannot believe what I have done - tomorrow looks very much in doubt - and I was so looking forward to trying to improve on last week's time - why???????? sorry - just had to vent my feelings!!!!!!!

Manc Girl - that's awful. Bung some ice on them and see how they feel later. Maybe get up early and test them out on a pre 5k jog.
I'm under pressure now as it's probably my last chance to get a sub 20m 5k this summer (unless I "cheat" and go to Alexandra Park). A sub 20 is what I said I'd do this summer - here we go...

Go on Steve you'll do it. The warmer weather and dry paths are worth a few seconds. Warm up well, go out boldly on the first lap and give yourself a chance ...
... and if not you can always go to Alex Park.
Manc Girl - just stay away from gardening and all DIY - first rule of running ;-).

Alex Park is not a PB course IMHO
Run it loads of times and reckon there are better courses

Steve - I'm having a PB attempt at Alex Park on Sunday, could try and pace each other on it?? Don't know if I can get under 20 but will give it a go and will hopefully at least get a PB.

THanks Steve - pretty painful now - - Bob - was only hanging out the washing!!!!!! - can't believe it - spent every morning this week coaching 59 children on Startrack athletics week - at our track - - even ran 100m relay lap this morning - and then have to do this in my own garden....................

Looking forward to running tomorrow after a few weeks away. Might I be so bold as to direct those who may be interested in voting for member of the month who have yet to vote to have a look at the candidates and see if there is anyone there you might recognise worth voting for............................
I'll give you a clue, he's quite modest and has failed to mention the nomination, but he has done sterling work getting BRTT up and running and might just be worth your vote.

Jen - I would say rest before the 10. You can marshal if you like - Clairster unfortunately can't make it - so you can have her spot.
TBB - I only just noticed that about 10 mins ago. Thanks for the nice words everyone. I've had a lot of help from a lot of people.
