I won't be sale sizzling - there's no 5k that has the same quality and value of BRTT.

Besides it's a 1 mile time trial at Belle Vue Racers tonight...

LOL Steve - sub 5 mile?

Dunc - there is entry form at wilmslowrunningclub.co.uk - bring it along on to BRTT and give directly to Malcolm. I'm not sure why the ukresults online entry has stopped - it isn't full.

Jen - Great Warford is near Alderley Edge - similar country roads to Wilmslow Half. Or did you mean Rudyard Lake? - that is past Macclesfield towards Leek.

the joys of a run in Brtish summer time this morning - 11degrees, torrential rain for the hour before the start, luckily it moderated to just heavy for the race :-) Not a morning for PB attempts kept it nice and steady all the way round but still manged to go ar*e over t*t at the wooden brdidge on first lap, only pride was hurt :-) good crowd considering the conditions

Ooh dear, Pat! Glad you weren't hurt.

I did the running (2.5k!) bit of the Chorton mini-triathlon today. Mostly standing round in the cold for hours, and my lack of fitness and cold showed a lot. Really exciting though, especially as we did it as a relay, and I was so glad I wasn't doing the swimming bit.

The weather today is horrible. Can we complain to anybody? :-) I forgot about the triathlon, meant to go and watch.

The ewaether didn't stop me from running the BRTT 5k this morning, nor did the hangover. The fact is I was too drunk to drive at 8.30 am. Well done to all those who ran it.

Bob - not sure what you mean about Ruskie pole vaulters?
