Still had a good run though and after the first 200m no-one overtook took me (except for a pesky kid who went past me like a whippet on the second lap ) and I was picking people off one by one all the way round. There are two morals to this story - 1) best times are achieved when you have a fetchie just in front to aim at and another fetchie breathing down your neck all the way round - So Steve & Homer when are you racing this again 2) Staying off the guiness on a Friday night doesn't improve your time by much Had a quick chat with Homer at the start and Kwaka at the end
