Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A thread for runners and supporters!

We're aiming to have a Fetchpoint to support our runners, and all the other participants in the Boston (UK) Marathon on April 14th. We'll be handing out fruit, making some noise, and providing essential counselling and tough love to get you through those last 6.2 miles.

Pending confirmation, we're hoping to be around mile 20 (near the "We'll Meet Again" war museum).

More news soon. Follow this thread to stay up to date. Do say you'll join us!

Mr T will certainly be making an appearance at some stage to join you - he'll probably divide his time between fetchpoint and the parkrun water station.

I'm sure this needs a bit of boinging.

Are you aware that the water stations have a fancy dress competition and they get voted on by the runners and the winners get (I think I'm right here) £100 to do with what they will. Boston park run waterstation won last year.

If you're at mile 20, I think you get the half marathon runners too so extra supplies may be needed.......

Minardi - I *didn't* know about the fancy dress. We'll have a think about that.

I’m sure the Fetch theme will suffice!
