Exactly becca :-)
Just seen my piccie as the route of the day :-)
Well, good luck everyone; let's hope it's not too hot, too puddly, too muddy, or too lacking in marshalla ;-)

See you in the market square - I will be fetched up but it may be hidden under a duvet if this frost is still hanging around - and if I'm not back when they start clearing away, please send out a search party!
Have fun everyone x

See you there. Had a crappy nights sleep so I'll be the one in the orange vest and the big eye bags. Good luck all

Hope you all had a good run. Looking forward to hearing all the stories from the day. I really enjoyed it and everything went to plan - relaxed in 1st half (1:36) and picked it up in 2nd half (1:33). Virus didn't affect me much, thankfully. It was very quiet out there, but I like races like that. The amount of water (in bottles!) was fantastic!!

Blimey Pipes a 3 minute negative split with a virus and running by yourself was a hell of an effort.

Where abouts did you finish with that time?

4.09.11. Didn't make the 4 hours cos of the dodgy hips. Was at 20 miles on 3 hours. Right on plan.10k in 1 hour. No problem. Then the wheels fell off. Had to walk a fair bit. Happy but disappointed

Uyuni - thanks - 2nd lady :-) - not sure overall. Garmin refused to work so I could only use it as an old-fashioned stop-watch (alongside mile markers that seemed a bit all over the place).

Sorry you didn't get the time you wanted, colindglen. But that looks like a PB for you - congratulations if it is.

2nd in the Boston marathon, now there's a claim to fame ;-) Amazing time - I guess there is always plenty of water when you are at the front of the queue!

Well done on the PB colin, I know all about the wheels falling off at 20 miles and run/walk/stagger home after Manchester last weekend so be proud of yourself for getting it done
