I can very nearly touch my toes for the first time in years and years. I put it down to these exercises. I'm about an inch away now. The single leg Romanian deadlifts are good for this and for developing balance, I'm finding.

I’m still keeping my three weight training sessions a week going. Making good progress with my deadlift session. Also still making attempts at pull ups but still only assisted ones with resistance bands at the moment. Reducing the band strength slowly so I’m gradually doing a bit more of the work each week.

No weights in house, but do my 1 hour twice per week (err... sometimes!) and think it helps. :-) G

Haven’t looked at those, mr d. Are there any links to them? Are they on a website?

Just realised I can get the classes on Demand through virgin, possibly not available to all.

daleyfitness.com

Probably should have noticed sooner.

I’m building up the body weight so that the exercises will be more effective when I start 😂

I’ve started trying press ups, pull ups & sit ups in the manner prescribed by the Royal Marines. Ha! The strict regulation & tempo adds a whole new level to the exercises.
