Is it 100% for sure this will go ahead? (not like Gloucester and Cotswolds...)

(This year I mean, I see all the posts are from last year!)

I am just about to sign up..... 3 weeks into recovery for minor foot stress fracture (ran Taunton Marathon hard up to 20 miles - was 2nd woman and on for 3.10 but then all fell apart and ended up 3.35) but then didn't take enough time off after and bang.. hello stress fracture.

Just trying to plan my 'come back race schedule' - already had to sit out Stratford and MK (ugh).

Anyone signed up to this and confident it will go ahead? Wouldn't want to waste another £40 for BTL to cancel it...

I was hoping to do the 50K, so I hope so! After a DNF last tear trying to get a GFA...I'm looking forward to getting back there.

It was a nice course, I like the rural quiet ones.. give me 12 laps of that over VLM chaos any day :)

Anne said I could have a discount 'cause I lost out on Gloucester but now she's disappeared again.. aargh

I remember email replies not being too rapid, but everything else on the day went well, it's just a very low key rural event, I loved it, well apart from hobbling out of action at mile 16! Going to add a few more laps for punishment this year to make up.

Yes, that was my experience too i.e. the vagueness but then event seemed to go ok, Anne just called me actually as I was freaking out as the online entry was closed so I entered on RW so can sit back and just look forward to it now :)

Loved how we could lap round and get drinks every few miles! I was drinking so much Coke I may as well have been in the pub haha

Wonder when the RW entry closes? Might email Anne, as I have the South Downs the weekend before, but should be ok to back up...

Entries on the day permitted, can't see it getting 200 for the 50K, so will go for that! I liked the gentle walk down to the start, just like herding cattle :)
