So still on target for the record but I suspect it's not going to be by a very big margin by the end, which is testament to the quality of Mike's record.

I'm trying to help him get his notes together / edit a bit in places and so have seen quite a bit of it - he doesn't describe the end of the C2C as too bad, particularly compared with the horror of some others. It might have been the Southern Upland Way race that he describes with most horror but it's hard to remember as there are so many epics!! Anyway, let's hope Damian keeps on it as well as he has done so far.
