If he didn't attract such awful weather for his challenges I reckon he could get it down around 55. But he needs to befriend the weather gods first! Awesome run.

We could do with plenty of notice of his challenges so that we can avoid sharing his weather. I wonder what he's going to do next? |

What a run, especially in this weather. And it goes to show the downhill direction is, unsurprisingly, quicker Sod's law is that the day he runs past the top of our local path is only third day in months where we've actually left the valley! |

Looking forward to getting some wifi or phone signal today to catch up. Sounds like an epic.

Has anyone heard if Tom Hollins has abandoned his Wainwright attempt or is he just having a break ? His last tracker signal was at 03:27 at about a mile down the road from the Hardknott Pass road crossing. live.opentracking.co.uk |

Tom's on the move again looks like loss of signal, plus a break of a few hours in the Duddon Valley. Now heading up Dow Crag

I think Dave A might be out of mobile coverage right now, so if you'll forgive me I'll give you a quick update: Tom lost a bit of time last night on the long leg over the Scafells, then at the Hard Knott CP his off going support runners forgot to hand over the primary tracker, hence the impression he hadn't visited Harter Fell and Green Crag. The trace has been updated with the data from the support tracker. He didn't lose any more time over the Coniston fells today and managed well on the ugly and off piste sections to Holme Fell and Black Crag. Now on the long Langdale section to Rydal.
