Great day out and also to do it on my first attempt in that weather is just now making me realise what an achievement it is. Still, there is no way I would have got round if I didn't have a first class support team, both on the fells and at the road crossings. They almost made it easy for me!!!!!! Worst moments were going over Kirk Fell and Great Gable when the weather turned and also having to put on Duck tape off Ozzy Kershaws water bottle because my ankle was rubbing and compeed was not sticking to me! Great memories! Secret to a successful BG.............................a top class road crew and Navigators. You can walk it if need be!

Yes, you're right about the crew and navigators but also being prepared yourself is vital and you clearly were. Great achievement, well done, enjoy the dinner!!!
