official website has details for this years race.....

"Entries are planned to open on 16 February and close on 8 March or on reaching the 4000 limit, whichever comes first. In 2009 the total race limit of 4000 entries was reached 5 days from opening; the on-line share (2000) was taken up in only 12 hours – yes, I did say hours!!)"

Early warning as fills quick ;)

Online entries open at 1am today (Tuesday) at https://www.sendentry.com/entryform/entryform.pl?eventname=blay10. Last year, the allocation of 2000 online entries was full by 1.55pm. Postal entry form is now available at http://www.blaydonrace.org/files/Blaydon_Entry_Form_2010_FINAL.pdf. Last year the race closed within 5 days. So if you enter by post do that today.
