I'm never going to look at a Klingon in the same way again....

Oil or oil based product of some kind (not the Flora though) should ease it overnight, then head for the chemist in the morning and see if you can get something like Sanex (which I use because I'm sensitive to scented shower gels) or if you feel its really bad oilatum to stop the chaffing getting cracked and sore.

Or just man up and take one for the team :-p
