I had the same problem today and inspired by this thread I've slathered Sudocrem in places which haven't seen it in almost half a century.

lanocan cream or something like that, its non greasy smooth and rerally helps reduce friction, and is soothing as well for the after effects.

something soothing like sudocreme over night then lots of lancane chaffing stuff tomorrow its in a yellow tube and fab! I use it much more than vaseline its much less messier!
