"Biscuits brown" were given out in army ration packs. If you were lucky then you got one containing "biscuits fruit" instead.

Didn't know they also stopped you needing the toilet...

Dvorak, I "know some people".

No idea what you mean about pine cones... not sure I want to, either. I'm guessing you aren't talking about eating them.

If you're going to go the natural route, I suggest sphagnum moss.

If you need to pick up some natural material for any ... residue.

"know some people" - I'm picturing a remote bunker, filled to the gunnels ... as indeed, you would be, after taking them ;-)

How are you enjoying you stay in the Land of Heather? How is the cycling?

Loving Scotland but I've not even been proper cycling since coming here (just 3 trips with my 8yo - 20-24km each but very slowly). I've just got a loan of a proper bike from a new tri-buddy but not had time to use it.

btw, it's not the pine cones but the ubiquitous nettles that scare me. I'll happily nip behind some bushes for a wee but one has to pick one's bush astutely.

I have been known to take Imodium before a race.

I have also had unfortunate experiences with nettles during al fresco toilet requirements. And brambles. Watch out for brambles.

Immodum... hmmm... I wonder if I should try that. Prob best give it a "test" run before our big day at Loch Ness. See you there, Sheri!

Yes, definitely give it a test run :)

I get a very nervous tummy before races and Loch Ness does involve a long bus journey to the start...... so needs must.

See you there IT!
