Mmm, thanks for that. They seem pretty secure on the stays right now, but I guess time will tell. I'll take it for a spin tomorrow, hopefully I'll stay dry.

Northern Exile, the clip on Crud3 were decent on my CAAD12 and fit with very tight clearance as I was running 28c tyres under 105 brake calipers.

Thanks Kieren, I wasn't acquainted with that brand and just had to look them up. As it turns out, I'm sort of OK with the SKS raceblades, they are really easy to detach and after a test this morning I've decided the level of protection they offer is acceptable - I don't really go out in crap weather much.

I have SKS raceblades and think they're fine, lots of the club do too, very easy to get on and off, that said i try to avoid bad weather.

I use LCC - London Cycling Campaign. I dont think you need to be in London to use them. They are an advocacy group. I haven't had a cause to use it and put them to the test. membership.lcc.org.uk |
