Afternoon just a quick plug for a new race the Bideford bay 50km,brought to you by Beacon Running, a new company hosting trail and road Ultra Marathons.

race entries are open for the inaugural running of what will be an epic annual challenge.
The race is a point to point ultra marathon from the village of Hartland to the town of Bideford on the North Devon Coast, being held on Saturday 7th September 2013 at 08:00, the race is 5% tarmac a beach and 94% South West Coastal Path. In stunning North Devon.
this is a 100 marathon club qualifying race, and we are awaiting to hear if allocated any UTMB points for 2013.
Trail Running Association permit has been applied for.
£35.00 for the race with medal,t-shirt and goody bag for all finishing competitors.
