Chrisull Jul 2020 9:30am, 14 Jul 2020 16,331 posts	0 Chrisull I don't mind caustic people, Knut Hamsun and Louis Ferdinand Celine both became Hitler supporting fascists and yet penned wonderful novels before then (Hunger - Hamsun and Celine - Death on credit and Journey to the end of the night) although you could see how they could make the journey into idiotic realms. I don't mind that Shriver's politically not my cup of tea, I just thought her cancer book was miserable, unsympathetic, blunt and not very well written, so I've steered clear since then.
