Though it is 'A Walk Across the Rooftops' that somehow manages to provoke nostalgia but sound very fresh to me. 'Hats' took so long to record I'd moved out of Glasgow so it has less of a pull.

Shocks and awes, like the first time I heard it some 38 years ago. 2) It’s bloody great for preventing folk gathering in the kitchen while you’re cooking.
