I'm back after injury. Very worried about getting injured again though so close to the event.

Nil long runs to my name but I've done a couple of 2+ hour sessions on the elliptical machine

doh! i know it wasn't you - sorry(!) bit of a brain frazzle moment there...

sounds like a cracking run today - and good news on the knee. I'm sure the physio is *right* tho... although you know I'd have smiled at him too! Have you thought about the 3-sessions-a-week plans though? Really prioritise the long stuff and then one shorter faster + one mid-length session and leave it at that?? I know... do-as-I-say-not-as-i-do!

Kieren - good to see you back in running order. Sounds like the cv stuff should be well in hand if you can manage 2 hours on the elliptical thing (not to mention the mind...(!) 2hrs indoors, that's seriously impressive!)

Trail / off roard marathon today was something else. 'Jogged' round - i.e. my heart rate was comfortable, but my legs hated it!! Gobi and I went round in 4:15. Ouch!!

I was hoping the elliptical machine would get the magical mitochondria growing :-)

Wiz, 19 miles on an hangover is amazing! Do you run with the club on Sundays in Richmond Park? Have I met you?

Charlie, 16 miles is fab too. That's huge base work with loads of time left. Just how many days a week are you running if the physio wants you to drop 2?

Well done BB

Hat's off to you Kieren....flipping nora 2 hours?

I'm happy with my 15 miles today....although the outside of both of my knees is hurting a wee bit. Bu99er

Kieren: not sure whether you mean amazing or foolhardy ;-) I'm sure the coaches amongst us will tell me off - quite rightly - as hungover running is obviously "a bad thing"! Sunday is recovery day, so no club run for me then - so... I don't think I've had the pleasure to meet in person (yet!), but time enough to correct that before Berlin.

BB: my legs have come over with DOMS in sympathy!
