Anj, I reckon I might hit 10 for the year, ultras & doubles included. Still not anywhere the numbers from the likes of Hipps & the 100 club (which I will join one day!)

but will only be racing out for a time in Berlin flat. Many of them will be offroad too.

well Kinky, if I'm mad....

did 7 in the last year, but will probably only do two more before Berlin, unless I get carried away (in a van?).

I did 2 last year and am doing 3 this year. London doesn't really count though, as I'll be prancing around in fancy dress and morethan likely crippled from Boston!

Kieren - I go on holiday tomorrow morning, back on Friday next week. But thanks for the compliment - you'll have me blushing soon ;-)

Katie - on the shorter stuff do you have trouble pushing yourself into the painful zone? Do you do speedwork - you know the sort that makes your lungs burn and legs give in?

Many, too, will be racing offroad for a flat in Berlin, but them will only be out of time

BB - I have no issues with pushing myself into the painful zone, and I do speedwork as hard as I can whenever I can (twice a week ideally). My problem with speedwork is that it is quite difficult to do it on your own, in the dark and on public footpaths dodging pedestrians, going around 90 degree bends and crossing roads. So whilst I push as hard as I can when I can, sometimes I have to hold back a little so as not to put myself or anyone else in danger. But I generally feel like I am going to die by the end so I figure I must be doing some good, even if I'm not *quite* flat out.
