Thing is, I've gone from not running at all in Nov 05 to doing 4 consecutive seasons of marathon training with increasingly steep mileage load - so I reckon there's a huge amount to be gained from a decent season of x-country and 10ks. It's amazing really that I haven't broken down so far (touch wooden objects far/near) but just thinking the body needs a break now...

The course is almost identical to berlin in so much as you start in a park in the City centre, and do a loop of the city on a fast, flat course, and finish up in the park you started. It's a great city and the crowds are good. Around halfway they were bigger than I've seen at any point at either NY or FLM. And a BIG plus, as already mentioned, is that it's first come first served... so if anyone wants to do it, they can.
