Yep - I was at Gatwick (how far a hobble was it from the plane to the baggage!!!?).
Blood blisters ok actually (although did have to go and buy a pair of flip flops as couldn't face 24 hours in trainers!). Calves = fine (unsure why! feels like i didn't use them at all!!), thighs = quite sore but ok, IT bands = v v v v v v v v v v v v v tight (ouch!), hamstrings = bearable. So overall, pretty damn good! Just need another 12 hours sleep and a few more days to pass and I should be walking properly!!
Hope you're not suffering too much - I saw about your b.blisters under your toenails - yiiiikkkkkkkkk! But all worth it I'm sure

Hi Tarange - well done on your time and what a great weekend! Your 9 mile, 9 mile, 8.2 mile strategy was in my head all the way round, so thanks (although nothing helped when I smacked into that wall!)
Hope your legs (and all the other bits!) are feeling ok LOL

Mudlark you were amazing - great to meet you - thanks for all the helpful calming of nerves of Sat night. I realised that I was there to enjoy it and so smiled for at least 20 miles!!

Hello Hello
I just got in after a slight detour to a pub quiz on my way home from the airport.
What a fantaistic weekend. I had wonderful company and really benefitted from the collective wisdom of the group.
I learnt loads out on this run, tried gels for the 1st time and they were AWESOME!
Afterparty was excellent. I had such a good time with a the fetchies jumping around like a bunch of loons. Hardly any aches today (although quads a little tight) and zero hangover.
Really great to meet everyone and have the pleasure of fetchie company .
