Feeling surprisingly OK - if a little "dehydrated" - sore feet (blood blisters under toenails - yuck!) but nothing much else to report. Cheers to everyone for all the good luck msgs and congrats yesterday - was a great day. Team Fetch played a blinder all round: a ton of great PBs as you've seen (off the back of some really sound tactical races - Kieren exercising real control, BB pulling back to bring home the PB when the legs refused the sub-3, and el Bee!'s - well, never in doubt!), fab debut performances from Bertie (great negative splits :-)), Sarah, Ange, Max. Really chuffed to break 3hrs (finally!) + place 37th, tho had a bit of a shocking last 2km (ended up cramping up and had to run/walk the last stretch). Anyway, apart from that really happy with the run (5kms splits 20:30 to 20:40 up to 35km, 21.05 to 40km), b4 the wheels came off!) Might have squeezed out another minute with slightly slower pacing, 3min +ve split in the end - but reckon I gave it my all.

Just coming up for air now, think missing breakfast day after marathon was not a good idea, followed by 2 year old daughter playing ring o ring o roses round and round (in the same direction) on sore legs didn't help LOL

I know we had pretty close to perfect conditions yesterday but the organization and support has to be seen/experienced to be believed. IMHO Berlin surpasses Boston and NY, which says a lot. Make a date in your diaries for 08 - it is special and worth the trip
