Right... not wishing to jinx anything, but the weather forecast on weather.com could barely be any better:

weather.com

16 degrees, partly cloudy.

(I'm touching my head repeatedly now)

question please: as the race is in kms - should i change my garmin to auto lap each km. or should i stick with all the training that i've done which is auto lap every mile and pace in mins per mile. i've just taken myself out for a v v v gentle 5kms and did it in kms and mins per km to see what it was like. obviously whichever one i choose is what's going to be uploaded onto my computer. any thoughts?

I would stick to miles, I always know roughly what the mile is in K's anyway. I prefer to train and run in miles none of this euro stuff for me thanks.

I also measure in pounds in case you were wondering
