Has anyone tried that Nuun stuff (soluable tablets to make isotonic drinks on the go)?

It's supposed to help with cramping - something I've been getting on the 3 hour runs. I want to get some for Berlin but as I wont be doing any more really long runs, I wont really be able to see if it works till race day

Wiz is a potential Berlin Winner ! so therefore I think you should stick to Plan A Marathon Pace (which is prob quicker than my 10k) then that'll sharpen you for Berlin 2 hours XX.XX

Wiz had better not run 2:49, cos I was planning on staying in touch with her, and I'm NOT doing that!!

Don't race Notts, Wiz... you know my view on this :-)

LOL... it most certainly will *not* be 2.49 @ Berlin, but it does have a nice ring to it... so maybe one day (if a little earlier in my dreams!). It's the main event tho definitely, not nottingham.

The collective wisdom of fetch and a long hard look at my training diary have finally persuaded me not to race tomorrow. Bang on marathon pace it shall be and not a second faster! Race + couple of miles warm up and down should be ideal training run. Expecting to find MP HMs quite enjoyable: main risk now will be tripping over my own feet, fixating on the Garmin...!

LOL Wiz :)

Sounds like a very sensible plan to me (but not the ...tripping over my own feet, fixating on the Garmin...!... bit)
;)

got to be the marathoner's equivalent of "tripping on a flip-flop"?

But the next question, Miss Wiz, is what is your MP? 6:45 / mile?
