You did a lot better than me - you're sooooo fast! I went for an interval session at the track. I did 8 lots of 2 min on and 2 min recovery. I covered the following distances and paces in the "on" sessions:
506 metres (6min 21sec / mile) 486 metres (6min 36sec / mile) 477 metres (6min 44sec / mile) 500 metres (6min 25sec / mile) 408 metres (7min 53sec / mile) - oops! suddenly got a stitch... 467 metres (6min 52sec / mile) 493 metres (6min 31sec / mile) 489 metres (6min 34sec / mile)
Reasonably pleased with the session - shame about that stitch. It's because I failed to plan my eating properly today and ended up scoffing a white bap on the train on the way home, only an hour before my run. Naughty Sarah. Still, at least I was out there running - and a lovely evening for it too.
Last long run tomorrow afternoon up and down the Thames

If yr vomitting ML your putting too much effort into the intervals....nothing gained from that.

Nah, vomit's all good! I think ML knows what he's doing. He'll be the one with his feet up and on his tenth beer by the time any of the rest of us reach the end of Berlin!
Well I'm enjoying the taper, I must say. I had my first rest day in 21 days yesterday, and just done a lovely slow 6 miler (although pace was actually pretty good) at lunchtime. Tuesday night was a pretty tough 4x1200m interval session with the club, and managed them all in 4:11-4:15, which is 5:35-5:40 / mile pace. Happy with that
People might want to think about a couple of sports massages on the old legs in the next 10 days or so...

my sports massage bloke told me that when he used to train, there was a girl who trained with them at their track session each week, and if she didn't stop half way through the session to vomit, she, and they were highly disappointed. i don't think i'm good enough to vomit!! thank god! i just wanna get round!

No Sarah only with dopes in suits (drunk dopes) who could not understand move forward for the trains.
It was a bit of OT for me. A change from my normal job.
