If everyone can get their long runs done in this weather it's great training. Just head out early doors though - Wiz and I were out bright and breezy this morning. I even got her to run slowly ;-)

MUD - I reckon 16miles @ 26 degrees beats 20 @ comfortable teens any day. As pastiest person on the planet I avoid the sun like the plague. Only so much factor 50 a girl can apply...

Happy to be back in by 10.30 this am tho - warming up by the end, but really good comfortable run - and plenty fast enough thank you! just feel sorry for UB who had to put up with me jabbering for a good hour and a half+!

Serious question. Anyone got non-running supporters coming along? I'm quite inspired today by the thought of ice lollys at mile 15, or should that be 25??

Yip my wife's going to be going around the course giving me my gels & jelly babies as usual.

This is marathon number three for her being my coach, supporter & corner woman.
