It certainly was tonight warm ups from 18.30 and timed mile at 19.00 all in the stadium

Sorry you missed it mole thing. I think most of us stayed indoors where the registration was until a bit after 6:30 as it was cold. We did for the first time have a clock on the finishing line. Meant you could see how close you were to your target all the way down the final straight. Couldn't quite set a new PB but equalled my previous just under 6:00.

I have not done an out and out mile for possibly 2-3 years now..... would be nice to do one.

Child 2 just did a mile in 7:12 at our village fete fun run, now he wants to see if he can go sub-7 minutes. Keeping an eye on this thread!

Next mile, Friday September 18th @ Palmer park, Reading, RG6 1LF

This is an open track session to members and non-members to come and run a mile as fast as you can on a track. And then eat cake

Cost £2.50 (track fee £1.50 with £1 going to our club charity- The Me 2 Club)

Register & Warm up from 6.30 - 6.55pm

Timed miles at 7pm & 7.15pm

Feel free to invite friends along to experience a track session at a friendly local running club, volunteers will be needed on the night to assist with timings

There will also be a chance to win a bottle of wine for 50p a ticket all proceeds going to the club charity
