Hard to lose someone so close, I'm glad you have found this thread and I hope it helps. I lost my mum to Covid last year, it still doesn't feel real.

Thank you everyone. Things do seem very surreal at the moment, and I don’t think I’ve quite processed it. Sometimes I feel ok, whereas other times it hits me. This can change throughout the day. |

I'm so sorry, PLB. That's a huge loss to process. I'm not surprised your feelings are all over the place. You didn't have long to get accustomed to the loss that was coming. Losing a previously fit (and relatively young) partner must be much more of a shock than, say, losing an aged parent who's faded away over several years. Much love to you xx |
