Good luck Wine Legs, the first 16 years are the worst! Hopefully we'll see somebody around.. Next question - Girl Twin has a race on Sunday (rowing) in Bedford, parental drop off instructions are vague to say the least and just say "park near the embankment" Any suggestions? |

You can park on the embankment but I think most of it is pay and display. I think the end near the cinema is free but that is the furthest from the rowing club. There are loads of residential roads leading off the embankment and I would think most Sunday's you can park on one of them but with a regatta on they might get busy. There is also the car park for the cinema which is free and pretty big at the end of the embankment, probably a mile walk up to the rowing clubs from there. There are a couple of fetchies that live just off the embankment as well who I am sure would offer a cuppa if visited! |
