Too Much Water
I'm getting back into running after a few years with training ranging from intermittent to non-existent.

Since January I've been doing easy runs, and plan to continue this until the end of July I plan to run between 20 and 30 miles per week getting myself used to running again, keeping the majority of my runs at an easy pace, with the occasional parkrun on a Saturday. Running 5 or 6 times a week, with a typical run being 45 minutes to an hour, and the longest run being about 9 miles.

I'm finishing off a degree currently so am prioritising this until July, hence the desire to keep it simple and not greatly increase mileage until after this point.

Is this too long a period of base training, and can I do anything to improve this?

5 or 6 times a week?!! Holy crap that is seriously intense. This is from me - I am lucky to get time to run once a week for 20 minutes.

You haven't said what your running goals are when you finish your degree.
