Could someone explain to me why an on line system has to have a limit on entries to the ballot?

I suppose they could go on accepting registations but they probably cut off at the point where they are about 10:1 entries: places oversubscribed.

Wasn't the cap, 100,000 for 17,000 places?

I think they should alter so that you have to have a time for at least a 10k if not a half before you can enter. After all you should have a bit of experience before you tackle the full. That way you would get rid off all those people who see it on tv and want to do it but have no intension of doing any training and end up walking all the way. Rant over sorry

Could also make it so that if you had run it once you couldn't do it two years running, then everyone would get ago. Sorry going
