Best for a while, the hot humid weather seemed to make a mess of my loaves recently, tasted fine, just far too quickly rising and sinking. Still. Milk Loaf. Hollywood. |

Thanks. It tastes good as well, it's always the same with baking, you need the time to measure it all out and get it right! I had a bit of time yesterday. |

Your bread always looks good OS. Pear and Amaretto cake in the oven as I had some windfall pears to use. Hoping someone in the village has some excess plums but haven't seen any as yet. |

I haven't made sourdough for months. I froze my starter when I went on holiday at the beginning of July; took it out a couple of weeks ago but haven't done anything. I think I'll feed it tonight and see how it looks tomorrow.
