Bacchus Marathon and Half Marathon

AB Nov 2012 11:57am, 26 Nov 2012 71 posts	0 AB Over 1100 entries this year, (sold out). The children's Trust have said they are bring some children's bouncy things and are trying to make it a village type atmosphere. There's a 2k fun run before the start of the marathon next year.

The only rubbish thing about it was the dire catering by the Hogroast people. Everything else was utterly fantastic its right up there in my top 10 special races!

Although still a bit pricey for a marathon, this one seems a more interesting one to do with a few added extras. With the Children's Trust involved, at least there is something positive gained instead of it just funding a local authority.
AB Jan 2013 8:03am, 5 Jan 2013 76 posts	0 AB Sazzleflip there will be accommodation reflected on the event website where discount has been agreed with the various hotels etc. I don't think it's on there at the moment but should be in the next few weeks.
