Worksop half - end of October - not too hilly, but definitely undulating. Really well organised race as well. |

Redcar- flat, dull, fast. Might be a bit far from South Yorkshire, but it was easy enough from Leeds for me. Newark was good, but Summer, and possibly cancelled? How far are you willing to travel? |

There's Clowne (Chesterfield), usually at the end of November. |

Worksop is probably a bit hillier than Sheffield, but I wouldn't class it as hilly. According to my Garmin readings of the course route in 2009 from Sheffield, that had 180m climb, and Worksop last year had 245m. I think both are reasonably fast courses given good conditions. Newark is definitely cancelled. Clowne is an option - not done it though. Redcar = pancake flat apparently. Robin Hood Half in Nottingham in Sept. Macclesfield in Sept. Is there one in Mansfield at some point? Also, there is Retford Half, but think that's a spring race. |

Worksop is a PB course - each time I've done it I've run really well there - yes it's undulating but I wouldn't say it was hilly. Brilliant race |

Mansfield should have been a couple of weeks ago but was cancelled, think it was for roadworks reasons (but not certain) so it could be back again next year. I've done Clowne a couple of times and it was my pb each year until I did Sheffield a few months later. Undulating countryside and villages - then a home made oaty biscuit at the end, who needs a medal!! |
