DeeGee, it's not Western States, (though that is the same deal, 8+ hours of trail work/volunteering) it's The Bear 100 in Utah - you can 'pay' someone to do it for you for $60 I think, fortunately I've done my quota sweeping an ultra ;-)

I think its a fab idea and id be up for it
I dont like doubles that much so would be happy to volunteer for one and run the other.
As long as i can squeeze in a parkrun;)

I'd be happy with a crew t shirt :-) You could always promise free entry for the following year for volunteers assuming there is going to be a following year.

Yes - crew t shirt is a fab idea "today was only possible because of me" as a slogan ;-)

I like the idea of free/reduced entry to future event. This wouldn't be taken up by all volunteers but would acknowledge those that can't afford to enter and a way of working to earn it.

I like your suggestion re: the double Dee Gee.

Crew T-shirt sounds good too. Something useful like a water bottle as a memento/freebie is good I reckon.

nici did any actual runner get any of those dime bar cakes you made at sdw100?

Loz, I fear I won't be using the same supplier for crew t-shirts as I did for TR24, even if those were brilliant...
