Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

P'raps I should be trying to keep up with you, Trumpton, looking at our times. But my main aim is to just get round and see what a half feels like to race so I'm trying not to set any difficult time goals. I'm not very good at that though. :P

Was hoping for Wilmslow but I suspect Lake Vrynwy will be my sub-90 attempt

Roo....you might just heal nicely.

Is anyone else joining beejay, Snoo, Pudds, me and the rest for food after the race?

Roo, I always try and break a half into 3 races:
0-7 steady
7-10 consolidate
10-13 THE RACE
If I can get to 10 miles pretty close to 1:20, it should be on.
As Hendo says, "Any cnut can run 3 miles"

I'm sure I will be doing something for food afterwards, but this is a family day out (Dad and big sis are running too, and Mum is cheerleading), so it depends on whether they all want to be honorary Fetchies for the day LOL!

I would have loved to Homer but we are having lunch at the current Mrs TR's Uncles in Wilmslow. :-(
Seeing them for the weekend is my excuse to come up and run this one.

KinkyS your family are more than welcome to come and join us. And I need to apologise to your Dad as I said go "kinkys dads" at the end of one bramhall run (luckly I don't think he heard me). :) Beside I (we) still owe you a bacon bap!!!
