I agree about getting near the front though. I found last year a nightmare and passed so many people in the first mile a* lot* slower than me . Why they do not have chip timing for a race this size I do not know.

Hi Cazmo Welcome to Fetch.
I love Wilmslow too...though this is only me 2nd attempt. I imagine there are a lot of Congleton Harriers coming up for this one?
If XB is still around then why not join us for coffee and start the race together?

What time's the pizza going to be?
I'll be in the pace group, too, for those of you I hadn't fmailed. I'd love to better my PB of 1:37 something, although doubt I'll really manage as that was in perfect conditions and with a fitter me, I think. I've done the race a couple of times, with a PB there a couple of years back.

I'll join you for coffee if I can find you. It'd be nice to meet some more Fetchies. I'm going to aim to get there as early as poss and park at the Rugby club.
Looks like it may be wet and blowy.

just had a look at some weather sites for Sunday and there are a few different conditions predicted, google is predicting 12 degrees and sunshine with showers - I'll settle for that - still there is not a lot that we can do about it. To be honest once race starts the weather doesn't bother me that much its all the waiting about at the start in crap weather that I hate. Just wating for a break in the rain now to head out for an easy 4 miler to stretch my legs before sunday.
