45 mins from Chester. I'll be there about 9:15ish. You don't have to park at the rugby club (£2) you can park on the streets very nearby in Broad Walk - these fill by about 9:30

A note for those at the start...last year I wore an old jumper before the start, dropped it neatly on someone's garden wall and picked it up no problem after the race

Yes a jumper is a good idea or even a black bin bag in which you cut armholes and a headhole - it does work very well as I have done this at LOndon Marathons and the Great North Runs - thinking about it did it at Wilmslow last year -

Kwaka
Morning Homer. Looking forward to seeing you again on Sun. I didnt realise your were a Wilmslow resident. I may try and join you for the meal, but not sure what Mrs K's plans are yet so will play it by ear.

Im using this as a tester for FLM. Hoping to get under 1:40 or very close. At the very least I want to feel a lot better than after the Brass Monkey, but being ill the week before didnt help at that one.

I think I might run in my HEART vest to test out the kit for FLM, so if anyone see's me in the red & white vest emblasoned with HEART and headband. Give me a shout.

Kwaka - I'm in Knutsford - not quite rich enough for Wilmslow but like to pretend. I'm buying the Porshe Cayenne today :-)

Welcome to join us - others are bringing family too...

I know what you mean about the Brass Monkey. I died a death that day. Trying to race it after 3 days of squitty tummy was a very bad idea. I still haven't shaken it off. I want to use Sunday to test myself before london too but that PB seems a tough call. I'm going to just prepare my best and see how I get on.

Happy with - beating last years Wilmslow time of 1:43
Would like - sub 1:40
Great stuff - PB of sub 1:37

I'm not sure I will be there. Seems I have a calf injury. Main aim is to get it right for FLM...if I can.
