Wow it was hot out there and I saw a lot of people struggling, hope all on here were ok.... I got a 2 min PB but was going much better, faded badly at the end... Anyway well done to all runners and well done to the marshals and first aiders, saw a few ambulances head out onto the course.

40 sec pb, the heat probably cost me a minute or so, and was bang on target for 1:45 until I got a crippling stitch at 19km.
Loved it, although there were quite a few at the finish who didn't look like they enjoyed it quite as much!

A 17 minute PB for me, though to be fair I haven't done a half for 4 years and am much fitter now! 1:51 despite the heat. Was glad it was over by the end!!

Oh my it was warm, was trying to get sub 1.40, and any idea of that melted after 8 miles. Enjoyed in nevertheless..1.44.38 official chip time for me, just spotted one black fetch shirt on course...

I think it wad Runners World, I should know better.
Still, many thanks to Malcolm Fowler and the rest of Wilmslow, a pretty spectacular show - Baloons, well manned physio tent, 10k chip mats (allowed me to make my fastest 10k since 2009 official), car parking (those parking volunteers worked their socks off), plenty of marshals... Everything they organised they organised tremendously. Must put this on Runners World later - support your not for profit races folks!
And, as usual a did at Nova - that cost less than Bupa 10k, was better and longer! Keep your Manchester 10k ! Wilsmslow is cracking. Thanks Wilmslow!

I think it is quite flat - although the last couple of halfs were Congleton and 4 Villages, so it might just be a relative thing.
One thing to be aware of with the 10km times is that it's net downhill in the first half.
Agree with your other points, especially the parking & traffic management - not just at the Rugby Club but in the whole area including the residential streets. Many races just tell you not to park there, but Wilmslow accept you're going to park there and manage it. I still think there's a place for City Centre events like Nova's, but having the choice is the best thing.
I only saw the one Fetch shirt on the course, also a black one - being worn by a woman with shortish red hair. She seemed a bit confused when I shrieked "Come on Fetchie" at her! Saw another after the race walking back toward the club.
