Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

RB - read that at first as GNR :-) Knew you were quick but that was pushing it a bit!!

Pacers at GMR will be interesting given the crowds

Looking forward to Sunday as well, although not particularily a target race forme this year I'm hoping for a decent time and I will use that time to guage what speed I set out on the Manc mara at

Indeed - in fact my only attempt at GMR was over 40mins as could barely reach jogging speed from wave 3. I'm hoping that they have sorted out some pace pens but it should be a laugh.

I'm going to give it a go on Sunday and hope that doesn't end in a taxi home from Mobberley ;).

TBB the (very loose) plan is 96 mins. Not sure what impact this man flu and recent mileage will have on me though.

Rob - running for The Dark Side eh? I hope Mr Foster gave you a free number (along with 30 pieces of silver ;-) )

I think they have some target times attached to trees in the start pen but I don't think they're particularly well observed.

This year I'm hoping to not start right at the back, the previous two attempts have seen me getting to the start a bit late due to waiting for friends to use the toilets! Just as well it's chip timed...

That was a little warm! But hopefully everybody still enjoyed it?

I got a 1min PB, but probably lost the same amount in the final 2miles as by then I was struggling with the heat and didn't feel the need to push harder with VLM just around the corner. :-)
