Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. It is always such an occasion. I've not really done the training this year but aiming to go out and enjoy it.

I'd recommend that you get there early and park politely on the residential roads a good distance away or car parks in Wilmslow itself. It gets very busy near the Rugby Club. Much better to jog in last half mile.

I'm not able to race but am hoping to cheer on some runners (Belle Vue Racers, Congleton Harriers and, of course, Fetchies).

Anyone now a good spot that is not in a heavy parking area? I was thinking Broadoak Lane - the field should be a lot less busy by then. The other factor is that I have to make a quick getaway as my mother in law is up for the weekend and I'll need to rush off to Altrincham to see her.

My money is on TBB to sub 1h30m this year. Cardiff perhaps? Maybe Wilsmlow.

Kwaka has suggested the loop part of the course is a good spectator spot...Small Lane, Wood Lane, Breach House Lane...

Hopefully see folk there - good luck to all!

The pub at the top of the hill just before 10 miles always looks fun when I run past knackered

I am now running alone as my two mates are respectively injured and a fat useless lazy bastard that's done no training.

Still looking forward to it - first race of the year; finally spring has sprung !

Don't think i'll even be close to last years time which is a shame as it's a good course. Something around 1.30 would be nice!
