Glad to see another race starting tech T's. Although at this rate with Stockport 10 and Chester HM doing them I'm going to end up with as many of them as I've got useless cotton ones!! Macc half is introducing them this year as well. Wilmslow's a good (ish) race but Macc is by far my favourite - despite that hill up Whirley Lane. Drove past it today after watching the mighty Macc Town beat Cheltenham. Gives me nightmares everytime I see it. |

Well that was rubbish!! Been struggling with a niggly calf and it started giving me gip from the 3rd mile in. Was tempted to stop at that point but plodded on to record my 2nd slowest time. Only managed to pick up the last half mile so I could scrape under 1.45 by the skin of my teeth. Shame as great day for it. Can't fault anything on the organisation. Support and marshaling was excellant and the tech T is really good. Hope everyone had a better race than me!!! |

I enjoyed that, well organised apart from the start (but then the club can't stop people starting too close to the front). Massive PB and the undulations were actually good at breaking up the race.

Good to see the old familiar faces out & about today. Am currently uploading the pics so watch this space. Mainly Harriers but I snapped a couple of Fetchies along the way. (4243 & 766) Sorry dont know your names but you both looked strong. Pato sorry I didnt get you snapped but I only realised when you were on top of me & Homer the battery light started flashing when I tried to get you.
